Green Team

Saturday November 21 - Friday November 27, 2026

Leavers is an awesome time for teens — a time to celebrate and say goodbye to formative school years after they finish exams and Year 12.

It’s a huge milestone! One that calls for a big party. But, it’s no secret that Leavers party hard — we’re here to help them do that. safely.

Leavers Green Team, a BCWA ministry, oversee the provision and sales of Leavers Wristbands and provide safety support alongside other event organisations. Our crew is made up of over volunteers from local Baptist churches and the local community. Would you consider joining us this year?

NETWORKING

We believe there is great value in networking; connecting with others, sharing stories, tried and tested tips, plus praying for each other as we serve in ministry with children. There are now six regional networks that meet once a term across our state, including online options for our remote Pastors & Ministry Leaders.

State Baptist Youth Camp

Date: Friday 26 February – Monday 1 March
Where: Serpentine Camping Centre – 22 Transit Road, Jarradale
Ages: Year 7 – Year 12

State Baptist Youth Camp (SBYC) has been thoughtfully designed so all the camp organising and logistics are taken care of, allowing youth leaders to focus solely on building trusting relationships and maintaining engagement with your youth group members.

It’s an opportunity to see them grow in faith and character, forming lifelong memories with their peers.

This is a fabulous opportunity for Baptist youth groups from around the state to come together for a time of connection, worship, discipleship, and fun.

Momentum Young Adults Camp

Friday July 30 - Sunday August 1, 2027

Momentum is a Baptist Young Adults ministry designed as a space for 18 to 30-year-olds to grow in faith, leadership, and community through inspiring teaching, powerful worship, and meaningful shared experiences.

Over the Camp weekend, participants will be encouraged to build momentum in their walk with Jesus while forming deep friendships and stepping into their God-given influence.

We are thrilled to host our second Momentum Young Adults Camp at Serpentine. In 2026 we saw young adults from around the state gather for biblical teaching, worship, games, activities and social opportunities that have created lasting friendships.

Registrations will open in 2027.
